Was established in 2007 to tackle poverty among Zambians through facilitation of access to financial services among low-income earners. It would be noted that FinGenMGG was one of the first not-for-profit making organizations in Zambia to identify and advance the idea that, “Provision of access to appropriate formal financial services among economically active women, men and youths, is an effective tool in poverty eradication”.
Is member of two National Working Groups for the National Strategy on Financial Education for Zambia (NSFE II 2019 - 2024)
Under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Zambia, namely:
Sub-Working Group 3 - Financial Education for Adults, and
Sub-Working Group 4 - Financial Education All Ages.
